Hi I'm Dario, from the time that I became a financial adviser in 2014, I saw the need to help professionals across Barbados secure their retirement income.

You see this core group of individuals were clearly pre-occupied with career advancement and by default, neglected their personal financial planning. As a young professional myself at the time, it was easy to relate to and understand the nuances/intricacies of balancing day-to-day living and the importance of also planning for the future.

My main focus at the time was to garner buy-in to the ideologies of financial planning, and long-term preparation as opposed to focusing on the financial product that was actually recommended to the client, which varied based on individual needs.

As time passed, I cultivated a special relationship with attorneys who I viewed as my special clients. I've found that they were the busiest subset of professionals that I encountered, the hardest to secure a meeting with, without having to reschedule, but ultimately became my best clients.

I hold a BSc in Banking and Finance from the University of the West Indies and have been able to merge my financial knowledge with the benefits of insurance products to cohesively offer risk management and wealth accumulation solutions to the hundreds of clients that I have had the pleasure to serve.

My client approach philosophy is simple; I want my clients to receive the best possible value for their hard-earned dollar. With that approach along with my ability to connect with them on a personal level, I've brought invaluable insight and value to their lives.

As a financial consultant at Vanilla Financial, I now get to work along with other like minded professionals with the singular goal of helping our client to succeed financially.
